Local athletes win medals in skiing competition

Four Brunswick County athletes won medals in the Special Olympics North Carolina Winter Games.
Richard Cummings in the AS Alpine glide (yellow) won a silver medal. Derrick Green in the AS Alpine novice slalom (green) won a bronze medal. Chris Robinson in the AS Alpine novice slalom (green) won a bronze medal. Adrianne Tribble in the AS Alpine Novice Slalom (green) won a silver medal.
Three received participation ribbons: Matthew Hoffman, AS Alpine novice slalom (green), Dion Smith, AS Alpine novice slalom (green) and Juan Velez, AS Alpine novice slalom (green).
