Local cyclists take 280-mile tour

Cyclists Steve Bruce, 45, Edward Flynn, 62, and myself, 68, began a cycling tour Feb. 16. We drove to Miami, where we spent the first night in a local hotel. The next morning, we drove to the home of an acquaintance of Bruce, where we left the van and loaded our tents, sleeping bags and cycling gear onto our bikes and headed toward Key Largo, where we spent our first night on the road.
