Local KFC wins excellence award

Scottish Food Systems Inc. of Laurinburg recently recognized Shallotte KFC at 348 Whiteville Road in Shallotte. The entire team at the local KFC received the Video of Excellence Award and in doing so, achieved a perfect score.

The Video of Excellence Award is presented monthly to the restaurant that best displays the service skills and qualities that KFC and Scottish Food Systems have set for all employees. On hand to present the award to KFC General Manager Brenda McClanahan and her team was Gary Liguori, director of KFC operations, and Maria Bingham, director of marketing for Scottish Food Systems, Inc. 

“Brenda and the team at Shallotte KFC have shown that they are helping to accomplish our company’s mission to exceed the expectations of our guests, serving delicious food with southern hospitality. I commend them for the great score and the work they do each day,” said Thomas “Tab” Broome, president of Scottish Food Systems Inc.
