What began as a missing person investigation is now a homicide investigation.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office homicide/major crimes unit is investigating the homicide of Adam Bradshaw, a 34-year-old Shallotte real estate agent who was first reported missing April 26.
Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, sheriff’s deputies found Bradshaw’s body off Watts Road near Ocean Isle Beach.
Bradshaw was shot once, chief deputy John Ingram said, but would not say where he was shot.
