McCumbee 11th in Kentucky NASCAR truck race

-A A +A
By Staff Brunswick Beacon

Chad McCumbee nearly had his fifth top-10 finish of the season, finishing 11th Saturday in the Built Ford Tough 225 at the Kentucky Speedway. A late-race collision dropped the SS Green Light Racing team driver out of the top-10 with three laps to go.

McCumbee started 19th and patiently waited for the handling of his truck to improve during the early stages of the race. A bold move by the Bobby Dotter led SS Green Light team moved the tiwi Chevy into the lead on lap 36.
