McCumbee 16th in ARCA race

Chad McCumbee finished 16th in the ARCA Prairie Meadows 200 Saturday night at Iowa Speedway in Newton.

McCumbee started 24th out of 38 drivers and finished 194 of the 200 laps. This was McCumbee’s sixth start of the season in the ARCA Racing Series. He has no top-10 finishes. 

Tom Hessert, 24, took charge early and drove to his first career ARCA Racing Series victory.

This was the ninth of 20 races this season. The next ARCA race is the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 July 17 at Mansfield (Ohio) Motorsports Park.
