McCumbee finishes 22nd at Talladega Superspeedway

Chad McCumbee drove his No. 71 ModSpace Chevrolet Impala SS to a 22nd-place in finish Sunday in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Talladega, Ala., Superspeedway.

McCumbee, who started 22nd, presently pilots the No. 1 ModSpace car in the ARCA Racing Series. He had seven top-10 finishes this season. The 26-year-old made his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut at Pocono Raceway in the No. 45 Petty Enterprises entry in 2007 and gained additional experience in 2008 making six starts under the Petty Enterprises banner.
