McDonald’s of Shallotte recently hosted a charity night where portions of the profits for purchases made between 5-8 p.m. were donated to a local nonprofit.
The management and staff of McDonald’s chose the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick as the recipient of its fundraising. The event also included face painting for children; the Gatorettes, the Brunswick County seniors cheerleading team; an appearance by Brunswick County’s “pink fire truck” and music by Charles Danford, a local singer and guitarist.
