Is McIntyre afraid to have a debate?

-A A +A

Is there a scheduled date for a debate in Fayetteville between Will Breazeale and Mike McIntyre for the District 7 Congressional seat? Is Mike McIntyre afraid to confront Will Breazeale?

I have attended several of Will Breazeale’s barnstorming, meet and greet, and fundraiser events in Fayetteville to hear the issues he stands for and why he is running for U.S. Congress. Some of the issues he spoke about were to abolish the IRS, cutting taxes, victory in Iraq for the U.S., has signed a “no earmark pledge,” favors a balanced energy policy to stabilize fuel costs, and building a border fence. He wants “no amnesty” for current illegal immigrants and to end automatic U.S. citizenship to babies born to illegal immigrants in the U.S. This alone will strengthen North Carolina and our nation’s economy.

I attended the Veteran’s Summit in Lumberton and heard Mike McIntyre’s Farm Bill proposal. Mike, I must say that the Fair Tax Plan would do a lot more for the farmer’s and North Carolina’s economy than your Farm Bill could even imagine, yet you voted to raise our taxes, voted against the 2007 troop surge, voted to allow $500 million in earmarks in just one bill. In 2007 you voted to add billions in taxes to U.S. energy producers driving up prices, voted to stifle the border fence with bureaucracy and not to fund it. You have no illegal immigration policy, but I did see you voted to elect Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.
