Meadowlands Missfits: Women's golf club makes golf fun for its members

There are many, many golf leagues in Brunswick County. Each course has its men’s, women’s and mixed groups. If you add in the Elks, the VFW, the Fadeaways, the Calabashers, the Beachcombers, the Rebels, the Renegades, the Seniors, Ladybirds and Club 25, you can see there are literally dozens of tournaments being played each week.

Despite dire warnings to the contrary, the game of golf is alive and well in Brunswick County.
