Men arrested in Sunset Beach

SUNSET BEACH—Police arrested a man April 25 in connection with an incident at Fibber McGees pub.

Thomas Allen Gallagher, 32, was charged with delaying and obstructing justice after he got into an altercation with another man at the establishment on Queen Anne Street, deputy chief Steve Smith said.

Damage to personal property was reported when someone returned the following morning to retrieve Gallagher’s mother’s car from the parking lot. All four tires on the vehicle had been slashed, Smith said.

Richard Lee Proctor of 813 Live Oak was arrested April 30 on an outstanding order for a domestic violence violation. He also was charged with making harassing phone calls.

Damage to property was reported May 1 at Colony 1. Someone broke a doorjamb by kicking or shouldering the door. Nothing was taken and no entry was made.
