Metal artist David McCune featured at Silver Coast Winery

Silver Coast Winery is once again showcasing the metal artistry of David McCune during the summer season.

The show launches Saturday, June 19, and runs through Sept. 14.

McCune, of Fayetteville and Brunswick County, is recognized as a prolific artist who has had successful shows from Florida to Las Vegas.

McCune’s mediums include but are not limited to metal sculpture, metal wall art, watercolors, photography, acrylic, jewelry and custom furniture.

His pieces range from designer jewelry to a 60,000-pound steel sculpture. His custom commissioned art pieces are in homes, offices, restaurants, historic sites, colleges and universities.

Lighthouses and shorebirds are among the many subjects he has chosen to illustrate with his mastery of color and skill.

The public is invited to view McCune’s work.

Silver Coast Winery is a full winemaking facility housing an art gallery, two gift shops and picnic grounds.

Tours and tastings take place 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays.

Winery hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. Sundays.
