Foley advances in Coast Guard

Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Jennifer Foley, daughter of Walter and Patricia Foley of Bolivia, was advanced to Chief Petty Officer at sea aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Forward while underway on an African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) mission June 1.

Foley, an electronics technician, is one of more than 100 Coast Guard men and women assigned to the cutter deployed in support of U.S. 6th Fleet operations.
