Narcotics arrests made

Tommy Lanier, 55, of Cotton Patch Road, Shallotte, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on June 6. Three hundred and forty grams of marijuana was found in the residence. He was detained briefly at the Brunswick County Detention Facility and released under $5,000 bond. Cotton Patch Road is in the Shallotte Point community of Shallotte.

Timothy Allen Brooks, 18, of Black Chestnut Drive, Leland, was charged on June 19 with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver cocaine, marijuana, hydrocodone and alprazolam; manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen handgun. Brooks was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility and later released under $10,000 bond.


Jeffrey Alexander Norman, 28, of Cypress Circle SW, Shallotte, was charged on June 20 with PWISD marijuana and sell/deliver marijuana.  Norman was briefly detained in the Brunswick County Detention Facility and later released under a $5,000 bond. Cypress Circle is located in the Lakewood community of Shallotte.
