North Brunswick High School was locked down for about an hour Monday morning. Sheriff's deputies arrested two suspects for trespassing.

Lt. Roger Harrington, of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, said a report came in that someone at the school had a weapon on campus. About 30 minutes after the school was locked down, sheriff’s deputies stopped two suspects near Trinity Drive in Leland.

Christopher Bell, 28, and Jacquelyn Eleise Mitchell, 43, both of Bell Way, Leland, were charged with second-degree trespassing.

No weapon was recovered from the suspects’ vehicle, Harrington said.

Both suspects were being held at the Brunswick County Detention Center under a $500 secured bond.
