New commissioner full of ideas for first term on county board

Frank Williams has enjoyed being an elected official for a week better than he did being a candidate for 14 months.

“I started campaigning in August of last year. I’m glad the election is over and excited to get to work,” Williams said.

Williams is the new face on the county board. Scott Phillips won a second term as a county commissioner and Pat Sykes served on the county’s Department of Social Services board before running for a county commissioner seat.
