New office to open for Oceanside Family Medicine and Brunswick Pulmonary

Providers and staff of Oceanside Family Medicine and Brunswick Pulmonary & Internal Medicine have announced they are moving to a new, expanded office at 5145 Sellers St., Shallotte, effective Monday, July 25.

“The new, 8,800-square-foot medical office includes space for up to seven medical professionals, and includes 21 treatment rooms, an onsite lab, ultrasound and X-ray,” said Dr. Chris Isenhour of Oceanside Family Medicine.

In conjunction with the move, Oceanside Family Medicine has also announced the addition of convenient care hours, two new medical providers and a new name for the practice.

According to Isenhour, the practice’s new convenient care hours are designed to better serve healthcare needs of local residents during evening hours and weekends.  Beginning July 25, Oceanside will now be open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. 

“We understand that medical needs come up at all times of the day, and we want to be as welcoming and available to our patients and the community as possible,” Isenhour said.

To better reflect these additional services, the practice will also change its name to Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care.

Oceanside will also welcome two additional medical providers, Clark Pritts, DO, and John Fillmore, FNP, in the new location. These providers join Isenhour, Angela Thompson, MD, and Marie Wheatly, NP, at the practice.  

Both Pritts and John Fillmore, FNP, most recently practiced at the Novant Urgent Care in Shallotte. Pritts is nationally board-certified in family medicine and John Fillmore, FNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner.

Dr. Babysarojah Ravindran of Brunswick Pulmonary & Internal Medicine will also share the new office space at 5145 Sellers St.  

“I am looking forward to welcoming my current patients, as well as new patients, to the office,” Ravindran said. “I have worked in Brunswick County for many years, and I am excited about this new opportunity.”

Board certified in pulmonary medicine, Ravindran offers a full complement of medical services for pulmonary disease as well as general medical care for adults.
