Asheboro Police have no suspects in the murder of 22-year-old Shaunna Walley, the Ash native living in Asheboro who was found dead May 18.
Walley was found dead around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, several feet from a trail off Brewer Street in Asheboro by a person walking along the trail, Asheboro Police Lt. Richard Thompson said.
Walley’s great uncle, Jeff Carll, said Walley, who grew up in the Ash area and has ties to the Brunswick County community, had been living in Asheboro for about a year and a half.
