North Brunswick built a double-digit lead in the first half and posted a 67-58 win in a high school boys’ basketball game Friday night at East Columbus.
Shawn Sanders, coming off a career-high 39 points against Whiteville, scored 25 in the victory.
North Brunswick improved to 2-1 in the Waccamaw 1A/2A Conference and 5-7 overall. The Scorpions led 41-27 at halftime.
Gerald Moore scored 13 points, Shawn Batts added 12 and Reggie Cobia had 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
