Novant recognizes staff with awards

Novant Health recognized local service award recipients at a banquet on Oct. 11 at The Isles Restaurant in Ocean Isle Beach. The service awards were given to employees who had reached their 10-, 15-, 20- and 30-year service anniversaries.
Special honorees for the evening included Teresa McGinn, RN, operating room; Michael Hill, plant engineering services; and Dr. James Adams, Novant Inpatient Care Specialists Brunswick. These individuals have contributed 30 years of service to the community.
“On behalf of Novant Health, let me thank you for your loyalty to our organization and dedication to the patients of this community. You are the individuals who live out our vision of delivering the remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time,” said Shelbourn Stevens, president of Brunswick Novant Medical Center.
This year has been a special year for Brunswick Novant Medical Center. July marked one full year in the new hospital.
“We planned for this for years and years, and now we are able to enjoy the fruits of that labor working in the new hospital,” Stevens said. “Even those of you who work out in the physician practices have been so supportive of the move and transition, and for that, we say thank you. You are all an asset to your profession and to our team. I am proud and honored to work with you.”

10-year service award
