Welcome to Grace United Methodist Church, a traditional Methodist church located at Fourth and Grace Streets, downtown Wilmington. Established on Christmas Eve, 1797, Grace is serving into its Fourth Century in its fourth building with a new Activity Center on its downtown campus. Blessed with an outstanding music program and a loving faith congregation, COME GROW IN GRACE!
9:30 a.m.: Sunday School for all ages.
10:30 a.m.: Fellowship Time in the Welcome Center with coffee and conversation.
10:55 a.m.: Morning Worship in the Sanctuary with Holy Communion led by Minister of Visitation Patricia Cox and the Chancel Choir.
4:00 p.m.: Beth Moore Bible Study of ESTHER.
5:00 p.m.: Parenting Bible Study Group, while children are in their groups.
5:00 p.m.: Kids 4 Christ and the older Methodist Youth meet.
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 10:30 a.m.: United Methodist Women with Domestic Violence speaker Bonnie Staugh; make reservations for lunch by calling the church office at 763-5197.
Nov. 8, 9:30 a.m.: Thursday Morning Music Club with Mike Waddell, Clarinetist.
Nov. 8, 6:30 p.m. in the Welcome Center: New Book Club discussing AFTER THE APPLE by Naomi Harris Rosenblatt. Info: Hopewalters@hotmail.com
Nov. 10 and 11, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Alternative Gift Market. Make monetary donations to local and international charities and then "gift" them to persons for the Holidays. Crafts from Ten Thousand Villages, cafe, see church website for shopping list. Mastercard and Visa accepted.
