Arrest made in Ocean Isle Beach
The Ocean Isle Beach Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last month. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.
•Thomas Henry McCollum, 65, of 29 Country Club Drive, Shallotte, was charged with possession of marijuana less than half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying concealed weapons.
•Larceny; victim’s credit card was used online to make purchases totaling more than $1,800.
•Larceny of license plate on East First Street; suspect removed tag from a vehicle.
•Assault inflicting serious injury at Pelican’s Perch; subject punched victim in the mouth causing serious injury.
•Larceny at 125 Oyster Bar & Grill; suspect removed $300 cash from victim’s purse.
