Ocean Isle Beach terminal groin talk raises passions along the coast
OCEAN ISLE BEACH—An Army Corps of Engineers meeting about terminal groins drew a crowd of more than 70 people in Ocean Isle Beach recently.
“This is the first public meeting seeking a solution to the erosion on the east end,” said Mayor Debbie Smith as she welcomed attendees on Oct. 3.
