Officers arrest four people, confiscate heroin

Officers arrested four people early Friday morning and confiscated 1,560 bags of heroin in Supply during a traffic stop prompted by an anonymous tip.


Robert Joseph Decosimo, 49, and Vandarn Stewart, 53, both of Elmont, N.Y., and Supply residents Marcus Antonio Grissett, 53, of Clover Lane SW and Elizabeth Julia Kleedorfer, 51, of Seagull Way SW are each charged with conspiring to traffic heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies with the Vice & Narcotics Task Force and members of the Wilmington Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the tip and seized the drugs, which have a combined street value of $31,200, during the traffic stop on N.C. 211, sheriff's office spokeswoman Emily Flax said.

All four suspects are in custody at the Brunswick County Jail. Decosimo’s bail was set at $500,000. Bail for the others was set at $200,000.
