OIB Crime Report

The Ocean Isle Beach Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests during the last two weeks. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Concord Street; suspects entered a storage shed and stole beer and towels.

•Stuart Reed Burkett, 17, of 4298 Headley’s Mill Road, Pataska, Ohio, was charged with underage drinking.

•Mitchell Lee Volpe, 22, of 1657 Lawndale Dr., Shallotte, was charged with driving while impaired and careless and reckless driving. Suspect was driving a golf cart.

•Tristen Perry David, 16, of 6033 Over Hadden Court, Raleigh, was charged with underage drinking.

•Breaking and entering and misdemeanor larceny on Union Street.

•Breaking and entering and larceny at The Winds; suspect took assorted items from a room.

•Larceny on Via Old Sound; suspect took three surfboards from Salty’s.

•John Dylan Floyd, 20, of 311 Liberty Church Road, Loris, S.C., was charged with consuming alcohol by 19-20 year old.

•Nathan C Haws, 28, of 4926 Cordes St. Apt. A, Fort Campbell, Ky., was charged with driving while impaired and speeding.

•Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle on Leland Street; suspect opened the vehicle door and took a radar detector and an iPod.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Lee Street; suspect removed an iPod and a GPS unit from the vehicle.

•Adam Kent-Pierre Dial, 23, of 202 Omega Drive, Pembroke, was charged with driving while impaired, left of center and failure to stop at a stop sign.

•Larceny on Concord Street; subjects removed a bicycle, cooler, fishing rods and a stuffed sailfish from a residence.

•Thomas Henry McCollum, 65, of 29 Country Club Drive, Shallotte, was charged with driving while impaired, open container and driving while license revoked, simple possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia
