OIB man charged with sexual exploitation of a minor

OCEAN ISLE BEACH—An Ocean Isle Beach man has been charged with six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Enrico Frank Milazzo, 46, 1784 Angier Street, Ocean Isle Beach, turned himself in to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, Jan. 18, just before noon.

Three warrants were issued for Milazzo’s arrest on Jan. 17.

Each of the warrants contains two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The warrants state Milazzo possessed material containing a visual representation of a minor, younger than 18, engaging in sexual activity.

Third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor is a Class 1 felony.

At press time Tuesday, Milazzo was under a $30,000 secured bond at the Brunswick County Detention Center.

He also has an upcoming court date in Brunswick County scheduled for charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
