n Intricate circular webs are a sign
of the arachnid
If you have noticed huge, intricate spider webs lately, you are probably looking at the handiwork of a golden silk spider, also referred to as a banana spider.
These spiders are known for weaving large, complex, circular webs, also referred to as orbs. Webs are usually attached to trees and low shrubs. Golden silk spiders can be found in the warmer regions of the world. In the U.S., they range from Texas to North Carolina.
