PANCAKE SUPPER AND ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE MARKS BEGINNING OF LENT

Grace United Methodist Church, Fourth and Grace Streets, downtown Wilmington, marks the beginning of Lent:

5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.:  The Grace Youth host a Pancake Supper in the Gym at no charge but donations will be accepted to support their foreign mission trip this summer.  Pancakes, sausage, fruit salad, coffee and water will be served.  Come and enjoy a meal with the Grace family, support the Youth and then attend the Lenten Service.

7:00 p.m.:  The Ash Wednesday Service will be held in the Sanctuary, including the Imposition of the Ashes.

This marks the beginning of a series of services, events and musical offerings marking the Lenten Season leading up to the Easter Resurrection Service on April 8.   Join us as you learn of future services.

As part of the Lenten journey towards Easter, consider cutting the family food budget by $2.00 per day per person for a week or until Easter and donate the savings to a favorite charity.
