Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Sgt. Bert Reaves talked with members of the Brunswick County Community Watch group Monday about the need to lock vehicle doors.
“There have been a rash of car breaking and enterings in the Carolina Shores area,” Reaves said.
He told the group the recent car break-ins have been primarily on vehicles where the car doors are unlocked.
“Please remember to lock your car doors. I can’t stress it enough,” he said.
