Jennifer Lynne Pratt and William David Chandler, both of Wilmington, were married June 4 at Farmstead Golf Links in Calabash. The couple’s closest friends and family attended the intimate ceremony, which took place on the first tee of the groom’s family business.
The Rev. Michael D. McLamb, uncle of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Miller of Wilmington and Edward L. Morrissey of Amboy, Ill., and granddaughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Miller of Rock Falls, Ill., and Clarence and Joyce Morrissey of Amboy, Ill.
The groom is the son of Teresa A. McLamb and David E. Chandler of Wilmington and grandson of W.J. and Sibyl McLamb of Calabash, the late Frankie Blair and Malana Welch Chandler of Charleston, W.Va., and the late William Grant and Viola Chandler Tompkins of Victoria, Texas.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Matthew Pratt.
The couple exchanged gold and diamond rings, custom made from family stones.
The bride graduated from North Lenoir High School and studied at Lenoir Community College and Miller Motte Technical College. She owns Jenn’s Cleaning Service.
The groom graduated from Hoggard High School and earned a B.S./B.A. from UNCW. He is the owner of Will Power Fitness LLC, and is currently serving in the United States Army.
A reception took place following the ceremony at the clubhouse.
The couple will live in Wilmington with their French bull, Nitro.
