The first DVD talk of the September 2012 Prostate Cancer Conference, Los Angeles, will be presented at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, in the SEAHEC Auditorium of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, 2131 S. 17th Street, Wilmington.
John Blasko, MD, Seattle, will discuss TREATMENT CONSIDERATIONS FOR LOW AND INTERMEDIATE RISK PROSTATE CANCER.
This lecture is especially useful for men whose PSA is high or rising, as well as those who have a family history of prostate cancer or who are recently diagnosed. With the main points on slides which can be easily read, Dr. Blasko uses a minimum of scientific data and slides to demonstrate logical courses of action backed by comparative studies in early discovered, low risk prostate cancer.
This talk is the first of a series in 2013 covering a wide range of topics in this disease. Men should look for future program announcements or request a list of the series by emailing Wproscasupport@aol.com
Presented by the Wilmington Prostate Cancer Support Group, Us TOO, which purchases this annual series from the Prostate Cancer Research Institute to present as a community service in the interest of delivering current treatment information to the medical community and public.
