Rabon family makes BCC endowment for scholarship funds

William Ernest Rabon and Mary Gore Rabon recently made a $50,000 gift to the Foundation of Brunswick Community College to establish two endowed scholarships.
The William Ernest Rabon Endowed Scholarship, in the amount of $20,000, has been designated to the associate’s degree program in horticulture technology. The program includes instruction and practical laboratory applications of horticultural principles. Also included are courses in plant production, soils, landscaping and the management and operation of horticulture businesses.
