Gospel jubilee set for Jan. 14
Trinity Baptist Church, 883 Holden Beach Road in Shallotte, will host a free Brunswick Gospel Jubilee at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14. Come out and enjoy some gospel music from near and far. Refreshments will be served following the singing. For directions call 754-4018.

Jan. 2 services
Trinity United Methodist Church, 209 E. Nash St. in Southport, will celebrate the Wesley Covenant Service on Sunday, Jan. 2, at all services. Communion will be given.
There will be three worship services: 8 a.m. casual worship and 11a.m. traditional worship in the sanctuary and a 9:30 a.m. service in Murrow Hall led by Worship, the praise team.
There will be childcare and children’s church during all services. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Services set at Camp UMC
“Back by Popular Demand: The Fourth Wiseman” with scripture from Psalm 72:10-11 and Matthew 2:9-11 will be the title of the Rev. Richard Vaughan’s sermon on Sunday, Jan. 2, at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. blended/traditional worship services at Camp United Methodist Church of Shallotte.
Sunday school/Bible study for children and adults begins at 9:45 a.m. A nursery is available for all services.
New Bible class begins Jan. 6
Register now to participate in a new six-week Bible study beginning Jan. 6 at Camp United Methodist Church of Shallotte.

Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 340 Mulberry St. in Shallotte, has Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Sunday morning worship at 11 a.m.

Gospel singer comes to Oak Grove
Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1356 Holden Beach Road, will feature southern gospel soloist Keith Plott, formerly with Brian Free, at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2. All are invited.
