Church to host stew winner Feb. 9
The 2012 Brunswick Stew Cook-off winner Oren Knicely will serve up his award-winning Brunswick Stew at Soldier Bay Church, on the corner of N.C. 130 and Longwood Road in Ash, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9.
The stew will be sold by the quart to go, or by the bowl at the church. Served with hushpuppies and a drink. Desserts will also be available.
