Zion Baptist plans jubilee
Zion Baptist Church, 2668 Whiteville Road NW in Ash, will host the Brunswick Gospel Jubilee beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, July 8. Refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall. Come and enjoy the songs about Jesus and fellowship with other Christians. Call Billy Hill at 209-4927.

Guest minister to be at OIB Chapel
Lawrence Chewning of Florence, S.C., will be the guest minister at the Ocean Isle Beach service at the cross on the beach strand at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, and at the Ocean Isle Beach Chapel on Third Street at 9:30 a.m.
Chewning is a Christian songwriter, recording artist and speaker who has shared the message of Jesus Christ for the past 30 years. His most well-known compositions are the Ray Boltz standards, “The Anchor Holds” and “At the Foot of the Cross.”
A nursery is available at the 9:30 a.m. service only.

Concert set at local church
Soloist Robert Carter will appear in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at New Life Baptist Church of Winnabow, 5420 Ocean Hwy. East in Winnabow.
