Speaker set at local church

Dr. J, a woman of God, will speak at Sunset Beach Community Church at noon Friday, July 22. The community is welcome and encouraged to come listen to her stories.

A full-time missionary to South East Asia for the past 17 years, Dr. J has a heart for the Lord, and the persecuted church, for those fleeing war-torn nations and the good news of the Gospel. She now lives in Thailand and ministers to 800 children, most of whom are refugees from Burma, and takes teams into camps and orphanages and lays her life on the line each time as they rescue the children, forge rivers with supplies, and present the Gospel.

Lunch will be provided at noon followed by Dr. J’s presentation. For more information, call Bonnie on 575-2748.

Sunset Beach Community Church is in Pelican Square Shopping Center behind Hardee’s at 1643 Seaside Road on N.C. 904 in Sunset Beach.
