Annie Armstrong Easter Dinner is April 7
Each year, Baptist churches honor the life and work of Annie Walker Armstrong, as they give to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering for North American Missions. This offering is named after her because of her desire to share love and help people in her beloved country.
Friendship Baptist Church, 2546 Ash/Little River Road in Ash, will unite with other churches, businesses and individuals to make her vision a reality. On Saturday, April 7, Friendship Baptist Church will host an Annie Armstrong Easter Dinner from 11:30 a.m. until the food is gone. Come and dine and fellowship.
The menu will consist of grilled chicken and pork chops, green beans, potato salad, rolls, homemade desserts and tea. There is no charge. A receptacle will be provided to make a donation to Annie’s Dream.
There will be an Easter egg hunt for children of all ages at 10 a.m. Eggs will be provided.
