Rep. Hamilton comes over the bridge to represent Brunswick County

Rep. Susi Hamilton won her second term in the state House in 2012, but this is her first term representing Brunswick County residents.

Hamilton serves District 18, which used to cover part of New Hanover County. In the realigned district it now adds the north end of Brunswick County, including part of Belville, Bolivia, Town Creek, Hood Creek, Woodburn and Leland.

Hamilton and Brunswick County representatives Rep. Frank Iler and Sen. Bill Rabon have discussed creating a bipartisan coastal caucus to support the needs of coastal residents.
