A request to lift a probationary term of former West Brunswick High School teacher David Arrowood has been denied.
Arrowood was charged with five felony Class G offenses and sentenced to 90 days in jail with five years probation after having a sexual relationship then 17-year-old Kylee Frye that took place between 2005 and 2006.
As terms of his probation, Arrowood was not to have any direct or indirect contact with the girl.
Her parents, Robert and Kathy Frye, filed a lawsuit against Arrowood and the Brunswick County Board of Education last September.
