Road signs should help, not confuse

To the editor: I’m new to the beautiful, southern Brunswick County area, so it may be a little early to comment on local goings-on, but after reading Rod White’s seemingly ridiculous comments on road sign placements, I just had to write.

Mr. White’s position is traffic services supervisor for NCDOT; however, he has very little understanding of what his job is.

Sign placement is meant to guide people who are here for the first time to their destination, not to frustrate them.
