Roger Simmons

Roger Wayne Simmons, 46, of Ocean Isle Beach, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Brunswick Community Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 18, 1965, in Melbourne, Fla. He is a son of Roger and Zella Mae Simmons.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Johanna B. Simmons; two sons, Tyler Benton of Ash, and Matthew Simmons of Ocean Isle Beach; and a sister, Sabrina Blankenship of Ocean Isle Beach.
Funeral services were at noon on Saturday, Feb. 11, in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Burial followed in the New Britton Baptist Church Cemetery.
