Roundabout construction nearly finished

The roundabout being constructed at the intersection of Causeway Drive and First Street in Ocean Isle Beach is near completion.

“The roundabout is on schedule,” Daisy Ivey, town administrator, said Tuesday at the town’s monthly meeting.

Construction crews were finishing paving Tuesday and Ivey said striping, sign placement and finishing touches should be complete by the end of Friday. A walk-through is scheduled for Monday through Wednesday of next week. The road will be open once the walk through is complete.
