The U.S. Coast Guard Station–Oak Island is gearing up for its fifth annual Station Oak Island Safety Day and Expo from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 5. There is no admission, parking is free and close by.
There will be exhibits by Southport, Oak Island, Caswell Beach Police, fire and EMS departments plus N.C. Fish and Wildlife officers and Brunswick County Sheriff’s office and its new helicopter. U.S. Coast Guard LifeFlyte and Sable helicopters will also be on display.
