San Rio continues to move forward; Shallotte Point group seeks meeting, agreement

SHALLOTTE—The board of aldermen on Monday approved requests from the developers of the San Rio planned residential development on Gray Bridge Road, moving the large-scale development forward.

Aldermen also continued to hear opinions about the future of Shallotte Point, which is outside of town limits, from members of the Shallotte Point Preservation Group and one suggestion from a former alderman that the board did not owe anything to that group.
