Sandpiper Bay continues renovations

I like to hear about positive actions taken by our golf communities in the face of a down economy. It shows a belief in the long-term viability and profitability of the golf industry in Brunswick County.

Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club is in the second phase of renovating it course. Last year, it installed new MiniVerde Ultradwarf Bermudagrass on the Sand Nine. This summer, the process is continuing on the Piper Nine.

Tim Tilma, the general manager of Sandpiper Bay, is delighted the ownership of the golf course complex is continuing with the renovation.
