The Beachcombers played a three-nets tournament on Friday at Black Bear. There was a tie for first at 196 (-20). Winners on a match of cards were Dennis McCann, Sid Silver, Ed Nocella and Reggie Auten. In second were Bob Byrne, Fred Ortiz, Ed Hennessey and Gary Gutheil. Lowest rounds: Gary Gutheil 82, Sid Silver 86 and Bob Byrne 89. Lowest nets: Sid Silver 63, Gary Gutheil 64, Fred Ortiz 66 Bob Byrne 68 and Dick Cecil 69. Sid Silver is golfer of the week.
