On Oct. 25, the format was count two best balls. In first with a score of -26 was the team of George Edwards, Bernie Gruzlewski, Jim Pope and Les Craft. In second was the team of Al Bloom, Chuck Hornfeck, Dave Harper and Ron Arvidson.
On Nov. 1 the format was count one ball on the par 5s, two balls on the par 4s and three balls on the par 3s. The winning team at -32 was Al Bloom, Mike Prokop, Chuck Hornfeck, and Jim Pope.
Stableford results for Nov. 5: First with a score of 97 was the team of Harvey Hundley, Mike Prokop, Paul Salerno and Tom Kronyak. Finishing second was the team of Larry Boyer, Bernie Gruzlewski, Jim Pope and a player by draw.

On Nov. 12, the format was 1-2-3. The winning team, with a score of -34, was Al Bloom, Tom Arney, Tom Kronyak and a player by draw. In second was the team of Larry Boyer, Harvey Hundley, Dave Harper and Ron Arvidson at -28.
Brierwood WGA
The ladies of the Brierwood Golf Club played their final tournament of the year on Nov. 13. They finished their season with a fall scramble. By a match of cards, first place went to the team of Nancy Kumlin, Dee Bogard, Cindy Northrup and Ruth Linder with a score of 75. Second place went to the team of Sara Lula, Ruth Tonking, Sandy Bloom and Marianne Nobes with a score of 75. By a match of cards, third place went to the team of Linda Branning, Mary Schaack, Cathy Clemmons and Carol Fitz-Gerald with a score of 77. Most Improved golfer went to Sue Janovic.

Results Nov. 12 at Heather Glen: Ron Doeblin, Ned Meier, John Ducey and Joe Gallo placed first at 146. Format for the day was cha-cha-cha with members moving from the red, white and blue tees. Taking second was the team of Pete Scott, Sid Pennington, Greg Jensen and a player by draw.
Results Nov. 14 at Shaftesbury Glen. In a COD event, the team of Pete Scott and Joe Gallo were all square on the first six holes against Steve Maiorca and Sid Penington. Pennington and Gallo won the second six, 1 up. Steve Maiorca and Joe Gallo were 2 up after the last six holes.
Results Friday at Glen Dornoch, John Ducey, Ron Doeblin and Karl Pettersen placed first at 150. The three-man teams scored a gross and net per hole. Placing second were Sid Pennigton, Steve Maiorca and Joe Zalasko.
Carolina Bogey Busters
The Carolina Bogey Busters played their championship rounds Nov. 6 and Nov. 13 at Brierwood and The Lakes golf courses, and Joe Burmer won the championship in flight A and John Ciemniewski won the championship in fight B.
In the first round in flight A, Burmer defeated Al Harms 3 and 2 and Bill Allen won against Dick Wilson 4 and 3. In flight B, Ray McDowell defeated Ron Watson 2 and 1 and Ciemniewski outlastsed Steve White 1 up.
In the championship round, in flight A, Burmer beat Allen 2 up. In flight B, Ciemniewski won against McDowell 2 and 1.
