On Nov. 26 at Farmstead, Jim Kennedy, Ned Meier, Bob Jaeger and Cliff Musselman finished first at 142. Format for the day was cha-cha-cha. Pete Scott, Sid Pennington, John Ducey and Joe Gallo were second.
On Nov. 28 at Heather Glen, members played a Stableford format. Bob Jaeger placed first at even. Pete Scott was at -2 and Tony Longquell at -4. Cliff Musselman and Sid Pennington tied for fourth.
On Friday at Possum Trot, Ron Doeblin, Joe Zalasko, Rich West and Greg Jensen placed first at 185. Teams scored two nets on the odd-numbered holes and three on the even. Placing second were Jim Kennedy, Sid Pennington, John Ducey and Joe Gallo.

In the Carolina Shores tournament Nov. 29, in flight A Charlene Pietrondi won in gross and Susan Jarrell, Violet Collins and Betty Kibblehouse tied for second. Susan Jarrell won in net and Violet Collins and Joyce Dunn tied for second. In flight B, Halla Cramer won in gross and net. Joanne Riedel was second in each. Violet Collins had a chip-in at No. 9.

Dennis Denihan scored a hole-in-one Nov. 28 on the 133-yard fifth hole at Rivers Edge. He used a 7-iron. “Beautiful golf hole across the marsh,” Denihan said. “Sunny and very windy, 15-25 mph (blowing) against me.”

CGA tourney
Lanny Correll Sr., of Pawleys Island, S.C., and Steve Denney, of Shallotte, shot 73-72—145 (+1) and finished second in a card playoff in flight B of the Carolinas Golf Association’s Super Senior Four-Ball Tournament of Champions Nov. 27-28 at Wild Dunes Resort (Links) in Isle of Palms, S.C. The links course was 5,753 yards, par 36-36—72. Harold Fisher and Jim Sears, of Lake Wylie, S.C., shot 72-73—145 (+1) in winning the flight.
