LELAND—North Brunswick emerged victorious Friday in a regular-season finale between two high school boys’ basketball teams that had disappointing campaigns.
Junior forward Shawn Sanders scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Scorpions to a 77-52 win against county rival West Brunswick.
Tyshon Walker added 12 points as North Brunswick (8-14) completed a season sweep of the Trojans (5-19) and finished the regular season with back-to-back wins.
