CALABASH — What better place to have a seafood festival than in the Seafood Capital?
That’s the way Dominique Wolfe sees it.
Wolfe, a newly appointed member of the town’s community service committee, was given the go-ahead by the town board of commissioners last week to research the possibilities of bringing a seafood festival to Calabash.
“Our committee will take on everything,” said Wolfe, speaking at the board’s Feb. 13 meeting, which was rescheduled from Feb. 11 because of last week’s icy weather.
